Review by hotel critic

Review of Gasthaus PookiGasthaus Pooki offers an authentic experience that strikes a balance between value and tradition. Located centrally, right in front of a charming church, it evokes nostalgia with its 80s-90s decor and historical artifacts. The rooms are tidy and feature wood finishes that create a cozy atmosphere, although some upgrades seem due-especially in the bathroom, which could benefit from minor repairs. The hosts are welcoming and attentive, adding a family-run vibe that resonates well with travelers seeking a personal touch. While breakfast could be better quality-leaning more towards supermarket options-the restaurant excels with delicious, homemade rye bread served with fresh local fish at dinner. Gasthaus Pooki is a decent choice for those valuing a nostalgic stay with practicality and comfort at a reasonable price.
